Q. What size and shape can I get my putting green?
A. EnduraGrass putting greens are custom designed for you. You
are not limited on the size and shape of your EnduraGrass putting
green.
Q. How do the EnduraGrass greens hold a shot? Can you really
adjust the stimp?
A. EnduraGrass greens are infilled with a sand and rubber mixture
and specially topdressed with a polished colored sand. When your
ball lands on the green the shock is absorbed by the infill repilicating
a true bent grass green. Yes! you can adjust the stimp by adding
more topdressing giving you a faster green or by lightly brushing
the topdressing to remove excess material giving you a slower
stimp.
Q. What is the life expectancy of synthetic grass lawn/green?
A. EnduraGrass synthetic turfs and lawns come with a limited
5-8 year warranty against fading , however the life expectancy
is over 15 years!
Q. What maintenance is required with a EnduraGrass putting green?
A. Our putting greens are low maintenance, high performance greens.
Our nylon putting system is maintenance free. Occasionally,
you will need to use a leaf blower to remove debris (twigs,
leaves, etc.) that accumulate on the putting green. Our Polypropylene
putting green system requires topdressing when the speed or
stimp of the green slows below your desired liking.
Q. How are EnduraGrass greens/lawns built?
A. We start by removing exzistng grass below root level and compacting
the base ground. Next we add a two layer compacted crush and
run stone base. We shape and contour to your specifications.
After shaping the base we lay the synthetic turf and fringe
over the base and seam them together. The sand/rubber (depending
on the installation) mixture is then added and broomed into
the fibers . Finally, we apply a combination of black and green
polished top-dressing sand which gives the green a realistic
appearance. Our last step is to adjust the speed of the putting
green by rolling the surface.
Q. Are EnduraGrass greens/lawns pet friendly?
A. Yes, dog wastes can be washed off using
a water hose or removed with a pooper-scooper and water leaving
no mess.
Urine is drained
through the turf and evaporated resulting in no smells or damage
to the turf. Actually, pets love our lawns and greens!
